Second supermoon of 2014 will be visible on Friday : The second of the five supermoons of 2014 would be visible on Friday, an organization working currentfor popularizing astronomy said here Tuesday.Space Foundation said the first supermoon of 2014 appeared Jan 1 – making January the single calendar month with two supermoons until January 2018.Friday’s supermoon would be visible around 3.30 p.m.The remaining three supermoons will be visible July 12, Aug 10 and Sep 9. The one in August would be closest to Earth.
GoM on Telangana to meet next week : The Group of Ministers on Telangana will meet in the first week of February to decide on Centre’s next course of action after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy sought extension of the deadline for discussing and returning the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill.The GoM, set up to look into the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, is likely to meet on February 4 to articulate the government’s view for recommending to President Pranab Mukherjee the next course of action

Meena will hold the post till his superannuation on 30 September 2014. Meena an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1976 batch has served as the director general in Rajasthan.
Google purchased DeepMind Technologies of UK : Google purchased the British start-up DeepMind Technologies – an artificial intelligence company – on 27 January 2014. The Americantech giant Google confirmed the deal in its London office. This dealrepresents Google’s biggest ever single acquisition in Europe. The acquisition of DeepMind would prove to be helpful for Google in further developing its most recent Hummingbird search update.
