Change in Pattern of SSC CGL 2016

What has been changed in new pattern of SSC CGL
Last week the pattern of CGL has been changed and there was lots of hue and cry about it... Every coaching centre started to claim as AIR 1, AIR 2, 3, 4 or most no of selections given by them in previous years so they only can prepare you for the new pattern of CGL... My opinion on the new pattern is:-
There is nothing much changed... The no of questions are just got half in tier 1 because Commission has to conduct the online exam in various shifts due to shortage of exam centres and it will save their time and they can conduct exam for more more batches in a day... Next question is why SSC has increased the time for Tier 1 exam by 15 minutes as it is not been increased for any paper in tier 2, it is due to the fact that many students who belongs to remote areas and comes from humanities background does not have much knowledge about the computer... So it might be difficult for them to understand the process of attempting of questions and given the answers of the same in online mode... So commission give 15 minutes extra for this reason... Second reason might be as the level of CGL exam is not up to the mark for the last 2-3 years so they might want to make it tough by giving lengthy questions on maths and reasoning... Also no of questions from many topics may be reduced or increased but we can't say what comes from which topic so prepare all the topics as earlier pattern of Tier 1...
Tier 2 will be same as earlier only mode of paper will be online ..
Only thing is you must solve sufficient no of online practice sets because most of you didn't attempted online test yet and it will be a new experience for you... So make your self ready to kill mode prepare yourself with online practice /mock tests.. I will suggest you website or any portal for the same in coming days...
Tier 3 syllabus is given clearly that it is mostly about application, precis, essay writing in hindi /English so the writing skills with knowledge will be tested and I do believe girls will score higher than boys in tier 3(No offense)....
PS- This is just an informative post..my next post will be about how to start preparation for the individual subjects of tier 1.
