Important Points regarding #CGL 2014:
1. There is no change in pattern of exam from previous years. Also, there will be no descriptive exam. SSC may use mobile phone jammers at exam centers to prevent cheating.
2. Fill your preference of posts very carefully as SSC does not allow to change preferences later. Read job profile of each post before applying. You can read it from here: https://www.sscstuff.blogspot.in
3. Read educational and physical eligibility for each post before applying. Apply only if you are eligible.
4. For the post of Statistical Investigator, one must have studied Statistics as a subject in graduation. If you have not studied, refrain from applying for this post only.
5. Also, read physical standards from notification for various posts, if you do not satisfy physical eligibility criteria for any post, refrain from applying for that particular post.
6. No request from candidates for allotting to any other post will be entertained by SSC if the candidates fail to meet the physical requirements after selection.
7. Other than what is given in notification, colorblindness is a disqualification for the following posts: Inspector(Central Excise), Inspector(Preventive Officer) & Inspector(Examiner).
8. SSC is not seeking for preference of states from CGL 2014. States will be allocated by department after selection. The same was done for some posts in CGL 2013.
9. While applying online, note down your registration no. after part-1 registration as it will be needed for part-2 registration.
10. Apply only if you have completed graduated on or before 01/01/2014.
11. Fill your application form carefully as no changes will be allowed later.
