IBPS Clerk 2016: Notification Released at ibps.in, Last date 12 Sept

IBPS has released the notification for the recruitment for the posts of CWE Clerks VI in the participating banks. The candidates who aspire to join the participating organizations’ as a Clerk or in similar cadre can register for the Common Recruitment Process through the official website of IBPS (ibps.in). The online IBPS Preliminary and IBPS Mains examination are tentatively scheduled to be conducted in November/ December 2016 and January 2017.
IBPS CWE Clerks VI Common recruitment process is being conducted for recruitment of clerks or similar cadre posts in the participating banks viz. Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, and Vijaya Bank.

IBPS CWE Clerks VI Vacancy Details;

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS CWE Clerks VI Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
IBPS CWE Clerks VI:  Candidate should have completed Graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university and should have operating and working knowledge of computers systems and should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied   Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. Candidate should be proficient in the official language of the State/ UT for which candidate whishes to apply.
Ex-Servicemen should be minimum matriculate  and should have  obtained  the Army  Special  Certificate of  Education  or  corresponding  certificate in  the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union as on 12 September 2016.
Age Limit for IBPS CWE Clerks VI: candidate should not be less than 20 and More than 28 years of Age (candidates should not be born earlier than 02 August 1988 and Not Later than 01 August 1996)
Selection Process for IBPS CWE Clerks VI Posts
The selection of candidates for the IBPS CWE Clerks VI will be on the basis of the Two-tier examination IBPS CWE Clerks VI Preliminary and IBPS CWE Clerks VI Mains and Subsequent interview. The candidates who qualify the IBPS CWE Clerks VI Preliminary examinations will have to appear for the IBPS CWE Clerks VI Mains Examination, the candidates who qualify the IBPS Mains examination will be provisionally allotted to the participating banks depending upon the vacancies in the current year. The results of IBPS Clerks VI 2016 will be valid until 31 March 2018 only.
Examination Scheme for IBPS CWE Clerks VI:
The IBPS CWE Clerks VI will be a two tier examination i.e. Preliminary and Mains, preliminary examination will be of 01 hour duration of  100 marks and candidates will be tested on the their knowledge of English language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning in Preliminary examination.
 The IBPS mains examination will be of 2 hour 15 Minutes duration and will of 200 marks and candidates will be tested upon their knowledge in Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Computer knowledge.
Candidates will have option to attempt the examination in either Hindi or English Language.
How to Apply for IBPS CWE Clerks VI Posts:
Eligible Candidates may apply online through the official website (Ibps.in) once the IBPS CWE Clerks VI registration starts tentatively from 22 August 2016 onwards. 
Candidates will be required to register online and submit the fee for the IBPS Preliminary examination
